“Page” by Google

In 2020-2021, Google tested a service platform called “Page.” It was kind of like Google Assistant on steroids—humans and computers united in helping subscribers complete the most tedious, mundane of tasks.

Why? Because Google Assistant’s AI engine has limitations. For example: it’s great at responding to commands like “add paper towels to my shopping list,” but terrible when it comes to things like, “find out where paper towels are on sale and add those to my shopping list.”

With Page, you type in your request and AI gets the ball rolling, then a human takes over if a request gets too complicated.

For these ads, we used three different taglines and showcased the types of tasks that might be just out of reach for a standard AI assistant.
