The Emmys

Before I quit Hollywood, I had the privilege of working with the Television Academy, the organization that puts on The Emmys.

Among other things, my job was to keep it spicy on socials.

——Mother’s Day Video

When Mother’s Day rolled around, I saw a rare opportunity to tell a new story by repackaging assets from the previous year’s awards show. I watched a lot of Emmys acceptance speeches, I laughed, I cried, and I cut together this video.

——2019 Primetime Emmy Awards Show Social Media

I was working at The Martin Agency when the Academy invited me back to create content for their socials during the Primetime Emmys. Naturally I said “DUH, OF COURSE.” I’ve never been so excited to get on a red eye.

From backstage at the awards show, I created and posted 100+ pieces of Instagram content (main feed and stories) during the carpet and award show, helped @televisionacad gain 10k followers in seven hours, and, as always, kept it spicy on the feeds—all while wearing an evening gown.

Here are some of my personal highlights from the night.

All copy by me. Made at the Television Academy with a major assist from Hollywood, baby!
