Hi, I’m Rachel Curry (like the food),
an LA-based senior copywriter with a background in TV.
I was raised on a healthy mix of Judy Blume novels, high-concept action movies, and MTV. At some point, the Venn diagram of those things formed my personality.
I believe no media budget known to man can outrun a truly great concept. I love a scrappy solution and live for those ideas that make you shout angrily at the sky, “Why didn’t I think of that?”
Before advertising, I worked in “Hollywood” where I helped breathe life into TV and film projects at every phase of development and production.
One night I googled “writing jobs that have health insurance” and copywriter popped up onscreen. So I quit Hollywood and here we are.
When I’m not writing I’m usually rollerskating, looking at the moon, or vacuuming dog hair off my couch.
