In California, it’s illegal to use the words “cannabis” and “beer” together in the same ad. When the client is a cannabis-infused beer, that tends to be a problem.
Here’s how we created an OOH campaign for a product we couldn’t legally talk about.

Spotify Playlist
We got around the law by creating a Spotify playlist whose song titles (when read in order) spread the good word about our weed beer.
Then, we applied a custom Spotify QR code to a series of wild postings that went up around Los Angeles.
